Synopsis: Rock of Love: Charm School was the second season of the VH1 reality television series Charm School.
Fourteen contestants from both seasons of Rock of Love were competing to develop proper etiquette in order to
win $100,000. Sharon Osbourne was the host. Brandi Mahon was ultimately named Charm School Queen and was
awarded the $100,000. - Wikipedia
Status: Lacey made it to the finale, but was expelled after the deans determined that she had not changed enough. Though
Lacey had shown a strong "break-through" during the song writing challange (in which she did not win, though hers was lyrically
the best) and improved behavior throughout the season, she reverted to a more angry Lacey when she was asked to gather donations
for the homeless, being pointedly rude toward people who wouldn't donate (Lacey has a strong past of animal/human/environmental
rights activism) which marked a significant turning point in the judges attitude toward her. Lacey claimed
in her exit interview she thought she had indeed changed but she had also played the game strategically.
Rock of Love with Bret Michaels (season 1):
Premiered: July 15, 2007
# of episodes: 12
Channel: VH1
Production Crew: 51 Minds
Synopsis: Rock of Love's storyline revolved around twenty women and the conflict that arose as they compete against
each other to prove that they had the potential to be Michael’s perfect "Rock Star Girlfriend." Michaels and the contestants
stayed in the same house used for the Los Angeles location of the American television reality show America's Next Top Model.
The contestants participated in various physical and social challenges that were occasionally judged by industry greats
such as Don Was and Richard Blade. -Wikipedia
Status: Lacey made it to the final three, but became involve in a verbal altercation with former friend Heather, which
resulted in Heather "outing" Lacey in front of her father and step-mother on her behavior in the house, implying
that Lacey was an entirely different person to her parents then she was to Bret and the girls. She also implied Lacey participated
in sexual conduct with Bret (as is also widely believed of Jes, Brandy C., and Heather herself, and certainly indicated in
the show). What else is remarkable in this episode is that Lacey's father confronted Bret on Bret's behavior
toward Lacey (sexual and non) and what Bret's intentions were in the future with Lacey, also painting a different
picture of Lacey (one of an honor student from a very well-to-do background) then the one Bret was claimed he knew
(that of a hard-partying, struggling artist).Though Bret had been feeling a strong "connection" toward Lacey throughout
the season (a primary reason being their shared musical background) in the end Bret dismissed her basically stating that
he felt the same as Heather in that she was a different person around him than her family (and probably feeling a little intimidation
from her father).
